Superintendent - Multifamily Project - Atlanta, Georgia.

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent specializing in stick frame multifamily projects. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring that this excellent project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering ground up Multifamily Projects and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Project Management:Manage all aspects of stick frame wrap construction projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

Team Leadership:Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.

Schedule and Budget Control:Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, monitor progress, and implement corrective measures as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Quality Assurance:Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards.

Safety Compliance:Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Client Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing regular project updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.

Problem Solving:Identify potential challenges or obstacles and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and meeting minutes, and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders.

Subcontractor Management:Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, overseeing their work performance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Continuous Improvement:Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and construction trends, and incorporate innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Wood Frame construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly related to stick frame wrap construction.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams.Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).Ability to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
