Century Group's client in Solano County seeking a highly qualified Controller with manufacturing background. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $160,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and controls Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Work closely with department heads to develop departmental budgets and monitor budget vs. actual performance Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting and manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting principles. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex. financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
