Responsibilities

At CESO, a Civil Staff Engineer is responsible for organizing tasks for civil engineering projects. One of their main responsibilities includes performing civil engineering work based on project requirements. They use their technical knowledge to actively participate in internal project meetings as well as make recommendations based on research, observations, and experience. You will have primary responsibilities that will include:

Under the direction of senior team members, perform basic site design work on site plans and construction drawings to include site layout, grading, stormwater, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3DResearch of design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirementsPerform site design calculations and analysis based on researched codes and regulations to apply it to assigned tasksProvide thorough and accurate documentation of calculationsCompare design options and document findings to produce detailed civil engineering studies and reportsReview technical and civil engineering drawing markups and make revisions accordinglyOther project duties as assigned

Position Requirements Include

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering0-2 of years of professional experience (internship experience is applicable)Passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is preferredProficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite
