Intern, Parts, Garments & Accessories

As a Parts, Garments, and Accessories Intern, you will play a key role in developing and refining processes related to return of merchandise and dealer support functions. Your primary focus will be on reducing dealer contacts through the implementation of efficient procedures and strategies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations management and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

RMA Process Efficiency:Collaborate with the operations team to understand current return of merchandise processes and dealer support functionsIdentify opportunities for process improvement within the return of merchandise workflow, including streamlining return authorization procedures and identify areas for automated systems for processing returns and exchanges

Dealer Support Call Reduction:Identify communication channels with dealers to provide proactive supportWork closely with cross-functional teams, including customer service, logistics, and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency in dealer support processesAssist in the development of process documentation/training materials and resources for internal staff and dealers to promote self-service options and reduce reliance on direct support contactsDevelop and implement strategies to reduce the frequency of dealer contacts while maintaining high levels of support and satisfaction

Order Management and purchasing process documentation:Collaborate with the purchasing team to gain a comprehensive understanding of current procurement processes and systemsResearch industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management to inform process improvement initiativesDevelop and document standardized procedures and guidelines for various aspects of the purchasing process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and order fulfillmentAssist in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, conducting research and analysis to assess their capabilities and suitability

Photo shoot and dealer show department vehicle upfit:Assist in the setup and installation of PGA products on vehicles for dealer shows and events, ensuring accurate representation and proper installation of productsDocument and analyze efficiency of process to provide feedback on future projects

Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in business administration, operations management, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointPrior coursework or experience in supply chain management, operations, or customer service is a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentInterest in powersports industry and experience with products a plus
