R Developer

Position Description

This is an opportunity to work with a team that is delivering statistical programs for lab scientists. The scientists require R programming for some of their statistical programs, and this role would be helping to fill the lack of R programming skills on the team today.

This role is primarily located in Plymouth Meeting, PA but can be done in any CGI office location.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Data Manipulation: Mastery in packages like dplyr and tidyr for efficient data cleaning and preparation.

Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in conducting complex statistical tests and analyses.

Data Visualization: Skills in ggplot2 for creating informative and appealing visualizations.

Programming Foundations: Strong understanding of R programming concepts and structures.

Machine Learning: Knowledge of implementing machine learning algorithms using R packages

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

R programming fluency.

The ability to work under pressure as part of a close-knit team.

A problem-solving mindset.

Strong communication skills.

A quality focused mindset to pick out the smallest mistakes in a line of code.

SDLC and life sciences experience is a plus.

Experience in Agile ways of working is a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,300.00-$160,200.00.
