CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our Infrastructure - Admin/Sector Finance Team from our office in Duluth, GA or any CHA office location.

CHA believes our employees should have the time and flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. We offer most employees the option of a hybrid schedule with a work week that includes both office and work from home days.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

At CHA, the Project Accountant oversees billings for their assigned business sector as well as ensuring accurate completion and timely submission to the client(s). CHA’s Project Accountant is also responsible for properly setting up projects and accurate revenue recognition. By operating in this capacity, the Project Accountant plays a critical role supporting the flow of incoming revenue generated by the business.

Requirements

Associates degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience required Minimum of 2 years’ accounting and/or invoicing experience required Familiarity with DOT’s public and private clients required Entry level managing 100 projects, engineering field experience, transportation work a plus Experience with Deltek Vision or comparable Enterprise accounting system preferred Previous work experience in a professional services organization or related field is a plus Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills
