Job Title : Estimator (Commercial Construction)
Location : Marietta, GA

Role Overview:Responsible for design-build, conceptual and plans/specs estimatingAnalyze project specifications, including but not limited to sketches, blueprints and sample layouts, to determine estimated costs and pricingPrepare quantity take-offs and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required to meet the provisions of the contractSolicit and review quotes from vendors, suppliers and subcontractorsAssisting operations with subcontractor procurementWork with the operations team throughout the preconstruction process in reviewing plans, specifications and general project requirementsDetailed knowledge of pricing and costs for materials, labor, subcontractors and equipment for all trade disciplinesAbility to manage multiple preconstruction projectsAttend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visitsLead and coordinate design team on awarded projects including thorough drawing reviewBuilds effective relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors and clientsReview awarded projects and compare cost on a timely basis to as-sold estimates to confirm accuracy of estimatePerforms other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate
Qualifications:Minimum 4 years’ experience as an estimator within Commercial Construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork.Proficiency in construction estimating software.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Compensation:Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 (depending on experience)Comprehensive benefits package (401k, Health Insurances, PTO) Collaborative company cultureProfessional growth opportunities
