Company Overview: Our client, a growing commercial General Contractor (GC) based in Roswell, GA, specializes in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors. They are currently seeking a dedicated Junior Estimator to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:As a Junior Estimator, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the client's pre-construction phase. Responsibilities include assisting in estimating project costs, preparing bids, and analyzing construction plans and specifications. Attention to detail and analytical skills will ensure accurate cost assessments, aiding in project budgeting and providing essential support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in estimating project costs by analyzing construction plans, specifications, and materials.Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost assessments and bid preparations.Utilize estimating software and tools to facilitate efficient cost calculations.Support project budgeting efforts by providing timely and accurate cost data.Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:Strong mathematical and analytical skills.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and materials.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.Relevant experience in construction estimating is a plus.Certifications in estimating or related field are beneficial.
Compensation: Base salary of up to $70,000.Benefits include Health, Vision & Dental Insurance, PTO, 401K match
