📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Chattanooga Veterinary Center [CVC] has been in operation since 2007. We are a small animal practice that sees dogs and cats predominantly. We have two full time veterinarians and one part time. Most of the appointments are medical care complaints and vaccinations. We do not provide after hours care or "on call" care. The practice has a boarding department with its own, separate staff. Our previous technician of 8 yrs has left the industry and there now is no LVMTs on staff. We do have a couple of assistants beginning their journey towards getting their license. There is a team of 6 to 8 veterinary assistants with experience ranging from a few months to 4-5 yrs in the industry.
ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for providing veterinary care and support to animals, assisting veterinarians in surgical procedures, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing general nursing care to patients.
QualificationsThis is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Chattanooga Veterinary Center located at 6146 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, Tn. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be taking on a leadership roll as supervisor and trainer for a team of 6-8 veterinary assistants.
