Position Details

Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000 annual salary; additional opportunity of up to $15k per year in performance and discretionary bonuses based on success in the role.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00 PM

Work Environment: Hybrid

The Role: As a Litigation Paralegal at Chenoweth Law Group, you will have very active involvement in a variety of cases, assisting 3-4 attorneys, with the support of a legal assistant. You will be using your proactive approach to anticipate needs, communicate deadlines, follow up persistently, and stay organized to support attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Daily tasks will include:with attorneys on the litigation team to brief on new cases, get an understanding of clients, and pull together big picture strategy.steps forward with discovery, document requests, document review, drafting legal correspondence/documents, and tracking deadlines for related projects.for trial through exhibits, subpoenas, and legal research.with pertinent parties for trial attendance and other needs.files and related documentation organized and secure in alignment with company protocols.collaboratively with other members of the team.billable hours with diligence and integrity using ProLaw.involvement through settlement by supporting attorneys with other related duties.

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate has an inquisitive, persistent, and adaptable method to their work. They know how to build professional rapport and drive deliverables forward with self-initiative, foresight, and good judgement. Other qualifications include:Associates Degree required; Bachelors and/or Paralegal Certificate is a plus.5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal and/or legal assistantPrevious experience in commercial litigation, business litigation, business law, employment law, real estate and land use law, estate, trusts and wills, or similar practice.Proficiency working with and learning multiple technology systems and platforms such as: Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, virtual meeting platforms, etc.Ability to use critical thinking skills when solving problems.Ability to manage time, details, and remain extremely organized in a busy environment, with multiple competing priorities. Ability to independently drive tasks forward without direct oversight.Ability to pass pre-employment background screening.
