📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
This position is located in Southeast Houston near the Clear Lake area. The Sr. Accountant provides accounting & analytical support to the finance department, executive management, & managers. The Sr. Accountant ensures accurate, complete & timely processing of accounting transactions with consistent application of accounting policies & procedures while seeking process improvements & standardization. Client is seeking "rock solid" technical accounting skills to keep up with a fast paced environment providing little guidance.
Requirements:Advanced degree in accounting or financeCPA is preferredAttention to detail & problem solving skillsHands on experience with ERP software packagesAdvanced Excel skills including V-Lookups & Pivot TablesExcellent interpersonal skills(5) years or more of experience in a finance/accounting role or experience in other relevant areasPrevious public accounting firm experience is preferredMust have a valid driver license
