As a Pharmacy Technician at Children’s Health, you will play an important part in helping children get the care they need.
Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, this job is responsible for preparing medications for discharged patients as well as refills. Answering telephones for questions from providers and patients, and direct contact with checking out patients and families using the point-of-sale system. Ordering and stocking over the counter and prescription medications.
This is a full-time Nights position at our Dallas campus .
Experience
At least 2 years of pharmacy-related work experience, preferred. Previous hospital experience, preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. One-year Vocational / Technical School degree preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration is required. Maintenance of the CPhT is preferred. Chemotherapy Certification preferred.
