Warehouse Lead (Grade 6) - C Shift (5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, every other weekend required)

Summary

The following is a summary of the requirements of the Dry Warehouse Lead. The Lead must be safety and quality oriented. The Lead must be clean, follow GMPs, wear proper PPE, and practice good housekeeping. Must be able to work in a team environment or alone when required. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment. Must maintain good communication with other Team Members, Shift Leads, Shift Supervisor, and Manager. Must be able to work in any and all departments if needed. Must be flexible to changing schedules and additional hours as needed. Must be able to take and fulfill orders for multiple different items and areas at one time. Must be able to work on multiple tasks during the shift. This is a temporary position, expected to last approximately 6 week. You must be a current operator in the Dry Warehouse to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

Assist Lift Truck Operator, Battery Room Attendant, Warehouse Clerk, Inventory Specialist, and SupervisorFulfill orders of Dry Goods to Departments throughout the plant as needed in a timely, safe and sanitary manner, First In First Out (FIFO) order, documenting and reporting any varianceDocument all trainingTrain and Share knowledge with team Members to help improve their skillsKeep well maintained, legible documents and have them turned into the office in a timely mannerBe involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the departmentMonitor team members with a focus on Safety, Quality and EfficienciesMaintain a strong focus on Safety, Quality and EfficienciesWork with other departments to create and maintain a “whole team” atmosphereKeep areas clean and organized following the 5-S guidelinesEnforce and observe all safety rules and regulations as put forth by Chobani and OSHAOperate all industrial powered vehicles required for assigned area efficiently and in a safe mannerProperly inspect and receive inbound loads in a timely, safe, and sanitary mannerFill out all necessary paperwork accurately, legibly and correctly for each loadEnsure Dry Goods are delivered, stored, and rotated within First in First out guidelines (FIFO) and in a safe and sanitary mannerEnsure paperwork is turned in, in a timely mannerMust keep equipment in good working order and use lock out tag out procedures for non-operation equipmentMust be able to communicate issues, needs, and other pertinent information with all appropriate and necessary personnelProvide information and support to the Shift Supervisor in regards to Performance Reviews, team performance, and coaching/ disciplinary action when neededAssist the Shift Supervisor in the hiring process as neededOther duties as assigned by the Manager and Supervisor

High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate paperworkMust be able to work on your feet for up to 12 HoursMust be able to lift, push or pull up to 60 poundsMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance
