📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Expected Starting Salary Range: 28.15 - 35.98
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Responsible for managing internal communications for the organization.
As a Senior Specialist in Culture Communications, you will be part of a team working to deliver a world-class communications experience for employees of the #1 children’s hospital and health system in the nation as ranked by U.S. News and World Report. This role includes content creation for our intranet, our virtual headquarters that serves to inform, engage, inspire and connect our nearly 19,000 employees. The right candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively across Cincinnati Children’s to drive employee engagement and loyalty by delivering clear, timely and inclusive communications.
Representative Responsibilities
Assists with developing, managing, evaluating and improving employee-focused digital communications and projects that support organizational and department priorities and objectives. Partners with assigned internal clients to understand challenges and become a subject matter expert within these areas, working proactively to help forward the team’s goals and objectives. Leads conversations and consults with internal clients on intranet requests to balance client and organizational goals. Uses communication survey results and channel analytics to offer recommendations and then assists with improvement efforts. Translates technical or complex issues for easy understanding and assists in problem solving. Contributes to discussions about employee communications strategy and digital best practices. Regularly seeks out process improvements and technology advancements to increase efficiencies and foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion in communications efforts. Pulls in additional resources and personnel as needed and works effectively with all team members.
Education/Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 2-5 years of work experience using content management platforms. Candidates with SharePoint experience preferred.
Unique Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with content management systems and Google Analytics 4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
