Job Summary And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Perform and assist floor employees in performing inbound receipts per documented processes as well as dispositioning non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments. Lead the department in shipping orders and as required to meet customer delivery and quality level commitments Insure outbound shipments are worked in line with our documented procedures and processes. Lead safety efforts involving cable machinery and forklift operation Assist in the maintenance of acceptable productivity and quality levels for floor associates to ensure the performance metrics of the business are met. Ensure cable is prepared for shipment to prevent damage by carriers Manage Steel Reel returns for credit and cable junk recycling Assist in maintaining accurate inventory utilizing a Warehouse Management and Reporting System Communicate any performance issues and observations to department supervisor. Lead floor personnel in the inventory reporting, cycle counting, and reconciliation process. Driving is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years related experience and/or training in a distribution center environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of RF processes using Intermec RF scanning equipment Experience using Exceed 4000 Warehouse Management System
