Senior Risk Management Consultant

CIS is recruiting for TWO Senior Risk Management ConsultantsThis is a loss control position that is not a finance-related loss control position.

Salary Range: $108,601 to $132,596

Job Location

Position 1: Southern Oregon Service Area; to provide better customer service, the successful candidate is expected to reside in Southern Oregon.

Position 2: Successful candidate will be servicing customers located between the Central Oregon Coast to Central Oregon, including the Mid-Willamette Valley. The successful candidate is expected to reside in this area.

Both positions work at our Wilsonville, Oregon Office, one day per month; otherwise, you may work remote from your Oregon residence when you are not traveling for work purposes.

These positions include regular travel to meetings, training, conferences, member meetings, staff events, and CIS’ Annual Conference, which may include overnight travel. The number of nights per month varies, depending upon the time of year and the assigned region; the average number of nights is 2-10. Member destinations vary by assigned RMC region; member destinations may be anywhere from a 20 minute to an 11 hour roundtrip drive.

If you are hired, you would be a consultant to CIS’ members (cities and counties of Oregon), on all aspects of risk management and safety in the areas of workers’ compensation, general liability, property, and auto, with the goal to help members identify and minimize risk issues and avoid losses. Inspire members to develop and maintain a culture of risk management and help them do so by advising on the latest principles and best practices, as well as CIS coverages, products, and tools. Provide account management services in a manner that creates confidence in CIS, connecting members with appropriate CIS staff, programs, and services to meet their needs. Part of CIS’ Risk Management Team. Work collaboratively, and exchange information with CIS’ legal, underwriting, claims, and benefits staff. Partner with members’ local agents in service delivery.
