π Role Overview & Responsibilities
Compensation: $150,000-200,000 base salary
Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented HR executive to join the team as the Director of Human Resources. The Director of HR will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's human capital strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, implementing transparent and efficient HR processes and systems, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall mission, goals, and objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development initiatives.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement.Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.Develop and implement strategies for employee retention and professional development.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Mitigate HR-related risks and implement proactive measures to maintain a compliant and ethical work environment.Implement and manage performance evaluation processes to drive employee development and organizational success.Provide guidance and support to managers in performance management and employee feedback.Implement and manage strategic talent development programs and initiatives that align the talent strategy to the organizationβs strategy.Implement and manage efficient, accessible and user-friendly processes and systems to empower employees and managers with all HR activities.Collaborate with finance to ensure the financial sustainability of HR programs.
Qualifications
5+ years in a strategic Human Resources Leadership roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred (example: SPHR or PHR)In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
