As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a skilled Behavioral Health Biller and Client Concierge to our team.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Biller who is agile enough to take on the role of Client Concierge during an initial phase. This dual role requires a keen understanding of mental health billing, especially psychological testing codes, and superb communication skills to manage client interactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of billing, including verifying benefits, submitting claims, managing denials, and obtaining authorizations.- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, ensuring a high conversion rate by addressing client needs promptly and effectively.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and provide billing support to our clients and staff.- Initially answer our phones during working hours to prevent calls from going to voicemail, thereby maximizing client engagement and retention.
Requirements:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- At least 2 years of experience in mental health or behavioral health billing.- Minimum of 1 year of billing experience with psychological testing codes.- Proven ability to handle high call volumes and manage client interactions effectively.- Agility and willingness to perform tasks outside of the typical billing responsibilities, especially during the initial training period.- Ability to shadow and eventually assist in transitioning responsibilities from our current biller.
