VRV/VRF Service Technician

As a VRV Service Technician at ElitAire, you will provide technical support to customers on state-of-the-art Daikin VRV equipment to include start-up and maintenance services, system troubleshooting, equipment repair and recommended enhancements, and lifecycle support.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Provide initial Check- Test- Start for VRV and DOAS equipment we represent.Responsible for servicing products and equipment (not restricted to products we represent) on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.Uses a variety of hand-tools, factory selection program, blueprints, and engineering specifications to validate proper installation, diagnose and correct systems.Utilize Daikin Service Checker tool and remote monitoring technology to identify, analyze, diagnose, and make system recommendations at customer locations.Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.Represents Company by serving as a Daikin OEM direct customer contact.Provides training for troubleshooting & maintenance at customer site.Provides technical support to customers.Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.Drives a company vehicle to job sites. Regular travel requirements with some (infrequent) overnight travel.Secures additional work through proactive recommendations based on equipment status and clients' needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and make decisions without close supervision. They must be self-motivated, accurate, efficient, and capable of responding to customer needs. Additional requirements:

Associate degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.Hands-on VRV/VRF experience and high interest and motivation to learn, training will be provided on all aspects of VRV.Must be comfortable working on a computer daily and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Demonstrate punctuality and attendance on a consistent basis.Must maintain an acceptable driving record and adhere to all pertinent ElitAire policies.
