Warehouse Operations Manager

Clayton Services is searching for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for site management, including safety, shipping and receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and other manufacturing and facility maintenance duties.

Job Type: Temp-to-HirePay Rate: $40.00 - $48.00/hour + OTBenefits: Excellent benefits available after the successful completion of the temporary period including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and more.

Warehouse Operations Manager Responsibilities

Manage warehouse personnel to ensure performance and quality of product.Assists with employee relations, such as onboarding new hires and conducting performance evaluations.Oversee the whole warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management, while maintaining stock levels.Maintain SOPs for processes per the company's Quality Management and workflow systems.Adhere to safety and health standards and ensure hazards and incidents are reported per company guidelines.Maintain warehouse operations systems by monitoring product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures.Secure property by enforcing protection and access policies and procedures.Train staff for certifications and maintain accurate records to ensure all designated staff are certified on the appropriate equipment and that all equipment certifications remain current.Oversee and manage record keeping as required and consistent with company policies.Monitor and report KPIs for areas of responsibility.All other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Operations Manager Skills and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to assemble products quickly and accurately.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Familiar with ADP and SAP is a plus.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Must be able to travel out of the state every six weeks to visit the company's additional distribution center.

Warehouse Operations Manager Education and Experience

High School Diploma5+ years of experience as a Warehouse or Operations Manager.Distribution experience is a plus.
