Cloud Developer - Senior with Security Clearance

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Cloud Developer to join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously evaluating available services and making recommendations to the government on strategies for implementation. Responsibilities include:

Strategies for failure/recovery. Cost optimization. Benefit analysis of cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-premises services. 8 years of experience developing comprehensive and innovative technical solutions with at least 1 year experience with 1 of the 3 major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google). Experience architecting and migrating on-premises applications into a cloud platform. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. Associate level certification is a substitute for 2 years' experience. Experience with AWS services, specifically CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS Experience with Python and/or JavaScript (specifically NodeJS interactions for Lambda) Experience with Bash & PowerShell scripting Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Experience with Docker and AWS ECS and/or EKS Experience with Linux administration Software/COTS: Databricks, Elasticsearch, Accumulo, Hadoop, Docker, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Apache ZooKeeper AWS Suite with Lambda Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, REST, JSF, Hadoop, HIVE, AWS Services (S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Code Commit/Build/Deploy/Pipeline, ECR, ECS) Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
