📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an Associate Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role will play a key part in understanding client needs and providing data driven solutions. The Associate Consultant will assist with data preparation, pipeline maintenance, and stay updated on industry best practices. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects within a Data Governance Practice and collaborate with talented teams!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a consultative partner and work with clients to grasp their data-related challenges and objectives & craft data-driven solutionsin data governance committee meetings, preparing materials, documenting decisions, and tracking action itemswith maintenance of data pipelines and transformation processes, with a dedicated focus on data quality and accessibilitybusiness requirements and ensure data consistency and integrityand optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction, transformation, and reportingContribute to data collection, cleansing, documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and results, maintaining best practicesStay informed about industry best practices, emerging tools, and techniques in data analysis & reporting to enhance project deliverablesSupport data stewardship activities within the data governance practice Assist in data issue management, including the identification, assessment, resolution, and reporting of data-related issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in information management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field1+ degree in information management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fieldExcellent communication and consultative nature, interpersonal, analytical & problem-solving skills a mustStrong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is a mustDetail-oriented & organized, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and precisionFamiliarity or experience in Alation highly desirable
