Interconnection Manager - Solar and Renewable Energy

Manager of Interconnection:The Manager of Interconnection will serve as the lead executor of the interconnection process. The Manager will build key relationships with ISO’s, RTO’s, and utilities to develop and execute new renewable energy projects. This individual will have previous experience in the energy industry specifically performing interconnection work, power system studies, and/or regulatory strategy.

Key responsibilities include AC interconnection design, communicating between the developer and the utility, bringing DC experience as well as running solar design tools. The ability to do high-level design and good experience with Helioscope is important as well as experience in MISO and PJM.

Responsibilities:Lead the company’s interconnection process and strategy in target markets.Build key relationships internal and external relationships.Support the wider team on strategic business development, evaluating potential interconnection options, and the execution of projects.Ability to conduct and work with the technical team on power flow studies.Lead the submittal of interconnection requests and directing the interconnection processes from project conception, submittal, and through the early-stage development for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Qualifications:3+ years of experience at IPP or Developer, ISO/RTO, Utility, or Consulting FirmBS degree in Engineering Field or equivalent industry experienceExperience with transmission and distribution interconnection.Ability to communicate commercially and technically.Remote role, travel as required
