Role: SAP Business Objects Consultant(Remote)Location: Dublin, OHDuration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Job Description-SAP Business Objects Consultant:Client Implementation Projects:Collaborate with clients and internal teams to facilitate the successful implementation of SAP Business Objects solutions Requirements Gathering and Analysis:Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and SAP Business Objects capabilities. Solution Design and Documentation:Design comprehensive SAP Business Objects solutions based on client needs. Hands on work on BO reports and integration to feeding systems is required for this role.Documenting functional specifications and system configurations to guide implementation. SAP Business Objects Development and Configuration:Utilize expertise in SAP Business Objects technologies to develop and configure solutions tailored to client requirements. Should have a good understanding of the underlying source repository BW / Oracle DW etc. Testing and Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough testing of SAP Business Objects implementations, ensuring adherence to specifications and validating system functionality and data integrity. Client Collaboration and Support:Foster strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the implementation process and beyond. Project Management:Assist in project planning and coordination, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and proactively addressing issues to ensure successful project delivery. Training and Knowledge Transfer:Deliver training sessions and workshops to clients and internal teams, facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring effective use of SAP Business Objects solutions. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhancement of SAP Business Objects solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices. Certification in SAP Business Objects or related technologies.- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.- Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and integration with SAP Business Objects.- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead small project teams or workstreams within larger projects. Nice to have:- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, particularly those commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry.- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.
