Join us on our journey of growth and success!Weβre currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager II located in Harrisburg, PA.Overview:The current opportunity and subject of this posting is anticipated to be eighteen (18) months to twenty-four (24) months in duration and located between Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.Required Education:Preferable that candidates have four (4) years in architectural or engineering studies from an accredited institution with an understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms.ORCandidates with two (2) years of on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps.Required Qualifications:In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vertical and/or flat work constructionCandidates shall demonstrate direct experience in various aspects of construction β either vertical or flat installations up to and including startup to commissioning, and closeout.Demonstrated experience in monitoring contractor performance, ensuring quality material and workmanship are by plans and specificationsExperience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm is a mustResponsibilities:Become familiar with the contract documents including plans and specifications, quality assurance requirements, etc.Monitor construction progression for contract compliance.Develop and maintain detailed records of material deliveries and materials installed in place.Record observations of field activities on a daily basis, if assignment is site specific.Coordinate component and/or system testing including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing acceptability, ADA related issues.Perform other duties as neededSalary:$35.00 - $40.00 per hourBonus Pay:A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managementβs discretion.CMTS LLC offers 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, 401k, life, and long-term disability insurance coverage for employees.CMTS, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate based on actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
