Job Description
What you'll do
At CNBC, Booking Producers work within a show unit to pitch ideas as well as book guests for a live show.
Responsibilities Could Include, But Are Not Limited To
Find and book compelling guests for the show, following booking protocols.Maintain planning editorial calendar with important upcoming news events and book relevant guests in advanceBook guests for breaking news events (this may include early morning or after-hours outreach)Implement work with guidance from Senior and Executive Producer.Conduct pre-interviews of guests and identify key headlines for segmentHandle any necessary travel logistics for guestsCoordinate with guests and companies to secure guest headshotsEstablish, develop and maintain good relationships with financial and business news sources.Work with anchors on confirming their bookings and coordinating logisticsBook control room and edit time for pre-recorded guest segments

Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of experience booking and producing in a live television environment with demonstrated booking ability/contacts, research skills and communication skillsExperience communicating with high-profile guests in sensitive news situations
