Job Title: Assistant Project Engineer Location: Riviera Beach, Florida Job Type: Full-Time Reports to: Senior Project Manager Position Overview: The Assistant Project Engineer is primarily responsible for creating work orders and preparing cutlists to facilitate the production process on the shop floor. This entry-level role is crucial in ensuring that all projects, ranging from interior doors to trim work, are meticulously detailed and ready for manufacturing in accordance with AWI premium grade industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and manage work orders using the Innergy ERP system. - Prepare detailed cutlists and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and ready for production. - Collaborate closely with the Engineering team, Drafting team, and Production Area leaders to streamline project workflows. - Maintain high standards of quality control and adhere to company and industry-specific protocols. Qualifications: - Associate’s degree or higher in a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. - No prior experience required as on-the-job training will be provided. Skills and Competencies: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Commitment to the company’s core values of striving for excellence, being thy brother's keeper, and willingness to go the extra mile.
