The CRC is a regional commission established under the Georgia Planning Act, serving 10 counties and 35 cities of coastal Georgia. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and promoting sustainable development in the region. Our mandate includes comprehensive planning, regional transit services, and supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities through our Coastal Area Agency on Aging (AAA).
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Transportation Services Fiscal Analyst at Coastal Regional Commission located in Darien, GA. The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of transportation program funds, including preparing budgets and financial reports for funding agencies, monitoring and evaluating program revenues and expenses and providing supportive assistance to the Transportation Program Director as needed. QualificationsFiscal Policy, Tax Reporting, and Excise management skillsAnalytical Skills and Tax knowledgeProficiency in financial analysis and reportingStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamExperience in fiscal analysis and budgetingKnowledge of government accounting principles and practicesAssociates/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredTwo-four years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping may be substituted for education
