Job Description

At CoBank, our Legal Resident provides legal support for various legal matters; including commercial and facilities contract review, preparation, negotiation and/or interpretation for all functional areas of the bank as well as the banks loan and collateral documentation function. The Legal Resident also provides legal support to the Office of the General Counsel and Legal/Loan Processing on an ongoing basis, including legal research and direction on legal opinions, legislation, regulations, bank wide legal services, other issues of bank wide importance and issues concerning areas of expertise.

Education

Juris Doctor degree from either University of Colorado, Boulder or University of Denver. State Bar examination required

Work Experience

Law Review or equivalent experience Familiarity with the financial services industry

The typical base pay range for this role is between $75,000-$85,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
