Job Description
Assist or perform other positions in the warehouse to include forklift, material handler, clerk positions. Keep facility clean and orderly including shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds by performing the following duties. Assist shift supervisor and/or lead in the areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety
What Your Day Will Look Like
Assist or perform Material Handler, Forklift operator, Clerk, building & grounds dutiesSupport warehouse lead duties, release shipments, dock coordinator and check loaded palletsSupport inventory and warehouse clerk duties, inventory count reconciliation, process shipments and create Purchase Orders /Stock Transfer OrderUnload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks and put away and replenishment of productBuild pallets via paper order or Voice pickRework damaged product in warehouseSort product and replenish flow racksRestack fallen productStraighten and sort pallets and shellsPerform general housekeeping dutiesOperate efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety and quality in the workplacePerforms appropriate duties as assigned by management
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum age 18 years oldPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceRepeated walking, standing and exposure to weatherAbility to demonstrate initiative and teamworkWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
