Investor Relations/Capital Raising (Associate)

Our client is a prominent, NYC based Alternative Investment Fund currently seeking to add an Investor Relations Associate to their Fund Marketing/Capital Raising Team.

This individual will be responsible for driving fund marketing efforts, running end to end business development strategy and partnering with firms' new and existing clients with regards to investor relations and capital raising for new fund launch. Ideal individual should be well versed with alternative investments, financial modeling, and new business initiatives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with retail sales/ fundraising team with regards to all investor activitiesWork with the origination team on pitching new business and supporting capital raising efforts, content creation and investor roadshowsWork with investment teams across the organization to ensure accuracy with regards to sales/fund marketing and business developmentProfile client base and prepare a strategic investor plansReview and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statisticsReview client quarterly reports to ensure accuracy and complianceMaintain client relationship, providing reports to Directors on a regular basisIdentifying opportunities to enhance the strategic reporting platform by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organizationProvide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of Financial Services/Investment Banking/Investment Management or similarProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel FormulasTechnical knowledge, data analytics using VBA/DCF modelsOutstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of ManagementPartner with investment team to create and update strong, consistent suite of core product marketing and client-service materials, in effort to effectively convey firms' product awarenessCollaborate with teams across all regions to develop meaningful marketing materials such as, sales pitch-books, strategy books, client reviews, conference presentations and educational materials for both internal and external use.Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.
