📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst in Product Cybersecurity, you will play a crucial role in bolstering the cybersecurity defenses of Abbott Heart Failure medical devices and applications. Your responsibilities will include conducting cybersecurity assessments, developing customer-facing documentation, performing vulnerability analysis, and contributing to the design of cybersecurity toolsets.
What You'll Do:Conduct cybersecurity assessments for medical cloud applications and devices in response to customer requests from Hospitals/Clinics.Develop comprehensive cybersecurity assessment documentation for new product deployments, leveraging software architecture, industry security standards, and best practices.Perform thorough product vulnerability assessments, including intake, analysis, and disposition, and contribute to the analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats through product monitoring and threat intelligence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cybersecurity toolsets that enable automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities.Contribute to the cybersecurity design of medical device products, ensuring robust security measures are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering field, plus 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.A passion for learning and staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity technologies and standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cybersecurity risk controls to customers.
Minimum 2 years of experience in:Security design or development for cloud, mobile apps, or embedded IoT devices, with knowledge of cryptographic primitives.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in healthcare, aerospace, defense (DoD, NSA, etc.), or other regulated sectors.
