The schedule for the 3rd shift position consists of 4x10 schedule Monday - Thursday 7:30pm - 6am
External candidates will receive a $5,000 sign on bonus.
Primary Responsibilities
Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures:Setting up and operating various test standsConfiguring test equipment for special tests as neededInterpreting and recording test resultsRecognizing and isolating test equipment failuresUsing diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component levelReading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematicsEffectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical componentsMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to read and interpret technical dataAbility to write in a clear and concise technical mannerGood computer skills and knowledge of office software applications
Working Environment
You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs. In your role, you will be exposed to:Products of various weights and sizesEquipment with moving partsHigh potential (voltage/current)Chemicals that may emit fumesTo minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment.
Physical Demands
Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be able to perform the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirementsBending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc. Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation)Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of timeLifting up to 10 pounds unassistedTransporting product with or without product carts
Qualifications/Experience Needed
Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years of related experience or in the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required. Must be a US Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
