The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Will be responsible for data abstraction and data entry and concurrent/retrospective data review for the American College of Cardiology databases (ACC, TVT and LAAO) as indicated by the Manager of Quality. Key function is to provide support for all internal and external regulatory functions both mandatory and voluntary in data collection.
Responsibilities
Provide regular bi-weekly data review/abstraction productivity reports to Manager of Quality.Initiates ongoing quality review of the data as determined by the affiliate needs and Quality Management Team.Assist the Quality Management Team with data related to identification of quality improvement opportunities, performance improvement activities and focus studies.Validate support sites of data files and facilitate timely reporting of mandatory requirements of data collection. Assist with the optimization of the flow of information to and from potential sources. Develop a system of updates and integration of new fields within the overall data structure to enable longitudinal analysis and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in education and 2 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred.
