About the Director of Human ResourcesWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Human Resources to shape the talent strategy and culture of our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent who are dedicated to our mission of inviting all people to take one step closer to Jesus from wherever they are.
ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of a comprehensive HR strategy that supports Come Near's growth and missionPromote and ensure the growth of an innovative, nimble, and highly engaged workforce infused with healthy company valuesDevelop comprehensive HR policies and procedures that will support the healthy and sustainable growth of the organization and its employeesOversee all aspects of the talent acquisition process, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and professional developmentFoster a positive work environment that celebrates diversity and empowers employeesManage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actionEnsure compliance with all employment laws and regulationsDevelop and administer competitive benefits programsPartner with leadership to create a culture of high performance and employee engagementStay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices
What You BringThe following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate:
Education & Experience5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within start-up environment
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPossess a deep understanding of HR best practices, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administrationStrategic thinker who can develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with Come Near's mission and goalsEffective communicatorStrong interpersonal skillsAdept at building relationships with employees at all levelsStrong understanding of employment law and compliance regulationsProficient in HR software and information systemsCan work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy
