THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will learn how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury, and mortality. You will learn to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, and take appropriate action to deliver the fish in excellent condition. You will have the opportunity to perform repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Weekend, evening, holiday, and standby time may be required. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
Graduation from high school; or Equivalent certification of formal training.
Special Requirements
Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
Post Employment
You must obtain a Commercial Driver's License that permits the operation of vehicles of 26,000 lbs. or more prior to completing the required probationary period.

A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
