Company Description Community Music School of Collegeville is a non-profit community organization located in Trappe, PA. Our mission is to enrich lives and communities by offering excellent music education, performances, and cultural experiences. We have a professional teaching faculty, a 200-seat performance hall, and 19 teaching studios. Our programs include music lessons, classes, and ensembles for all instruments and all ages, as well as Musikgarten for children ages 18 months to 7 years, and the A Little Night Music Concert Series for the community.
Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for a Music Teacher. The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music in their soecific instrument of experiee. The role includes developing and implementing lesson plans, providing individual and group instruction, evaluating student progress, and organizing recitals and performances.
Qualifications Music Theory, Music Performance, and Music Education skillsExperience teaching music Strong knowledge of various music genres and stylesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with students of all ages and ability levelsStrong organizational and time management skillsBachelor's degree in Music or Music EducationExperience in music instruction or related field is a plus
