📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Grooming Assistant to join our team! In addition to providing 24/7 medical care, Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer pet grooming services for canines and felines of all breeds and sizes. Our Grooming Assistants are responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our grooming facility, and provide direct support to our Master Groomer.
Our ideal candidate must have previous experience in pet grooming or professional pet care. This is a part time position, no weekends required. Shifts begin at 7:00AM and may vary in length, based on scheduled appointments.
Responsibilities
Assist in restraining animals for master groomingAssist in the brushing and bathing of animalsMaintain and clean the grooming area to ensure a healthy, safe and organized environmentHandle general care tasks, such as preparing grooming stations, stocking supplies, and other tasks as neededProvide excellent customer service to clientsProvide compassionate, quality care to pets
Qualifications
Previous experience in animal care or grooming services requiredAbility to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening mannerAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work as part of a team
