QualificationsMaster’s degree in behavioral health field (Required)Experience in working with children and families (Required)Preference given to those who are fully licensed or on track to be fully licensed as LPC-MHSP, LMFT, or LCSW within 3-4 months of start date

Full Job Description: Counselor is responsible for conducting assessments, treatment planning, and counseling for children and families at Concord Family Counseling.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Able to document casework in a timely manner, including writing progress notes, psychotherapy notes, treatment plans.Able to assess for at-risk factors (suicide, self-harm, eating disorders) and intervenes clinically.Demonstrates time management skillsProficiency in play therapy

Responsibilities: Conducting regular psychotherapy sessionsDeveloping therapeutic treatment plansMaintaining appropriate records
