Our client is a global leader in the promotional products industry and is seeking an experienced Account Manager for a long-term contract assignment. This role will work on a team dedicated to servicing a globally recognized beverage brand. The New York City Metro area is the highly preferred location for this remote position. However, US candidates residing outside of this area who are strongly aligned with the requirements for this role may be considered. The RoleThe Account Manager will maintain positive client relationships and identify value-added business opportunities/solutions for the client. Responsibilities include achieving our client contract commitments through sourcing and development of promotional products domestically and internationally, while meeting/exceeding product adoption, revenue, and contribution targets set in the monthly and yearly forecast. The ideal candidate is client and solution oriented, extremely organized and works well multitasking and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. This individual has an eye for detail and proven success developing close working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management:Build effective relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.Identify and resolve any issues relating to the client within agreed SLAs.Prepare and provide professional presentations to clients and customers.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:Collaborate and build relationships with internal support departments and key external suppliers.Collaborate with internal and external teams in the strategic planning and tactical execution of results-driven campaigns for promotional/premium related projects.Participate in proactive innovation to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to drive adoption and sales.
Project Management:Monitor campaigns to ensure all deliverables are on target, on brand, and delivered on time and within budget.Maintain day-to-day project management working with internal and external stakeholders ensuring all sign-offs and deadlines are met in accordance with critical timelines.Oversee production of accurate RFPs for products based on technical specifications, pre-production samples, and ensure delivery OTIF (on time in full).Manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently managing priorities and leading well under pressure.Review any escalations with your manager, communicate resolutions and challenges effectively.
Business Development and Strategy:Manage brands range development, driving commercial stability, and executing brand growth strategy.Identify and communicate potential client efficiencies in procurement patterns, buying cycles, product category focus, sustainability, and alternative POS/Premium development.Develop market business plans by researching the customers and trends. Identify cross-selling opportunities and act on them.Drive thought leadership and strategic deliverables for the future of the brands, identifying and driving innovation.
Analytical and Reporting Skills:Monitor, manage and report on project metrics, including budget and delivery, ensuring achievement of client and internal objectives and budget targets.Analyze management information, financial, and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget.
Qualifications:degree or higher with 5-7 years of experience working for a promotional product, or procurement outsource agency, servicing CPG/retail client brand teams.background and knowledge in sourcing either POS, print, premium, or display production.experience in engaging and influencing cross functionally, particularly across multiple client marketing / brand teams and internal supply chain teams.working with both domestic and international supply bases.project management skills.building and maintaining strong client facing relationships with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, confidence analyzing multiple datasets.experience managing and leading others.
Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
