Accounting Manager w/Consumer Products exp. -NJ Candidates ONLY - (Salary $120-125k)

We are a rapidly growing organization in the Paramus, NJ area. We are seeking to hire an Accounting Manager with Consumer Goods experience to join our team of progressive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:Job Responsibilities:and oversees the daily operations of the accounting department including:Outlook finance calendar and monitors deadlines are met.month and year-end process in a timely manner.general ledger reconciliations and supporting analysis current.financial variances between actual to budget and to prior year.and distributes monthly department schedules.the chart of accounts in the ERP system.booking of fixed assets as per headquarters’ policy.accounts payable and general accounting duties (and staff)banking activities with staff (initiate wires/ach/credit cards)E-Commerce payments to the bank accounts.cost and quantity inventory adjustments.year-end annual statutory audit.annual business insurance renewals.and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.the sales tax process integration with the ERP system.with out of State sales and income tax compliance analysis.accounting processes and suggests internal controls enhancements.with preparation of budgets and forecasts.in the preparation of quarterly PowerPoint presentations to headquarters.with monthly reporting to headquarters.as payroll processing backup and reconciliation to the general ledger.with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed.monthly accounting meeting with VP of Finance and presents results concerning accounting performance.responsibilities, as assigned by the VP of Finance.

Job Requirements:Degree in Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.of 7 years of supervisory accounting experience, with emphasis in the consumer goods/wholesale distribution industry.managing staff.proficiency in MS Excel.experience, Microsoft Business Central experience is a plus.
