Area Supervisor - Custodial and GMP Services
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
About us: Our company works alongside local manufacturing companies and we currently are seeking an area supervisor to oversee the cleaning technicians who maintain cleanrooms, laboratory and office space. We are looking for a professional individual with a strong work ethic to join our leadership team based in the North California area.
Position This position will have overall strategic and operational responsibility over existing accounts in multiple locations in North California as assigned. Establishes and promotes goodwill with customer and identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory. Hire, train and maintain staff of 20 - 30 technicians, schedule and collaborate with internal teams to ensure growth attainment.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing long-term relationships with assigned accounts; connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of business and financial solutions according to customer needs.
- Provide technical expertise and understanding on the qualifications surrounding GMP related cleaning, cleaning process and company certification and validation services.
- Motivate team members and build team camaraderie to achieve desired results.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the National Director of Operations.
- Place job advertisement and oversee interview and onboarding process. Identify leadership talent within existing team and oversee the professional development.
- Prospect any potential new business opportunities with the Account Development Managers and network within the industry among providers and clients alike.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Perform cleaning as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- The ability to read and understand in all revisions of applicable Customer assigned SOPs, policies and procedures.
- The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, be on-call and available for special assignments.
- The ability to lift 40lbs, work overhead and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screening
- Complete all training requirements for specific work areas.
- The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.
- College degree in a related field of study.
DIRECT REPORTS TO THIS POSITION:
- Site Supervisors, Shift Leads and Cleaning Technicians
COMPENSATION:
- Salaried based on experience and demonstrated leadership
