📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Welcoming all Compliance Managers with JD's and 10 plus years in practice to support an organization's efforts to follow rules and regulations in the philanthropy space based in NYC. Working closely with legal teams to ensure adherence to ethical standards and policies. This role involves managing paperwork, analyzing data, and educating staff on compliance matters on an international level.
Key Responsibilities:Develop compliance programs based on laws, rules, and internal policies.Monitor and maintain effective controls to ensure compliance.Analyze compliance-related data and prepare presentations.Assist in educating staff on compliance topics.Manage paperwork for company registrations and filings.Participate in industry benchmarking and professional development.Handle other related duties and projects as needed.Handling investigative governance and policies and procedures relating to Conflicts of Interest (COIs) Anti-MoneyHandling Laundering (AML), also ant Bribery, Kickbacks, as well as Antitrust regulations
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and J.D required10 plus years of practice and good standing in NJ or NY bar10 plus years of relevant experience with legal teams required.Member in good standing of NY or NJ bar required.CCEP or similar compliance certification preferred.
Non Clinical- Attorneys working as counsel Admitted to practice law in NY/NJ either or requiredLicenses and Certifications
CCEP or other compliance-related certification is preferred
