Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Responsibilities

Repair and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation.Break down machinery and replace defective parts.Maintain equipment inventory by checking stock and placing orders.Train others on routine preventive maintenance.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Work Experience Requirements

2 or more years’ experience working as a maintenance technician.Ability to operate machinery and technical equipmentIn-depth knowledge of system maintenanceAbility to lift and move heavy equipmentFamiliarity with safety standards and regulationsSkilled in analyzing information and creating reports

Education Requirements

Associates degree in mechanical engineering or similar field or related certifications
