Mechanical Engineer

This position will be part of the greenfield start-up team, creating processes, programs, procedures, drawings, and other greenfield project activities that will be essential to our success.

Responsibilities:Coordinate with all plant teams to ensure compliance with RAGAGEP (Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices).Total productive maintenance site leadDevelop preventative maintenance procedures and training. Create Maintenance procedures. Conduct and document equipment failure investigations with root cause and recommendations.Manage critical analysis and create reports and recommendations.Analyze problems/deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve them.Lead and implement continuous improvements / Kaizen efforts.Conduct critical job observations to help reduce injuries and equipment damage.Project lead (develop, initiate, implement, and manage all phases of projects).Write technical documentation for operators and maintenance technicians.Manage drawing document control process.Create and update AutoCAD drawings. Generating and implementing Engineering Design ChangesPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred) At least 5 years’ experience working in the field.At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent mechanical and technical skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent Microsoft Office skillsExcellent computer skills (adaptable to new systems)Great presentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Proficient with AutoCAD or similar softwareAutomotive Experience Project Management Press Machine Molds and DiesRobotics

Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Prolonged periods standing and walking in the manufacturing areas.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery.
