Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing multi-state payroll processes and experience with certified payroll, with a strong understanding of prevailing wage requirements.

Responsibilities:- Process and manage payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.- Handle all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, payroll adjustments, deductions, and reconciliations.- Verify and process certified payroll reports in accordance with prevailing wage laws and regulations.- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.- Stay up-to-date on changing payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll.- Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements is a strong plus.- Proficient in payroll software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
