π Role Overview & Responsibilities
My client if hiring for a Vice President of Human Resources in Lake Mary, FL! Reporting to the CEO, managing a small team, this roll will oversee the Human Resources department for an established privately held business with a workforce of 200 employees. Duties/Responsibilities:Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organizationβs long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.Focus on retention and employee engagement across the companyProvide advice to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.Develop techniques for compiling, analyzing and presenting HR data.Provide guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.Participate in professional development and networking conferences and events.Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field requiredAt least ten years of human resource management experience required and to include compensation, talent acquisition strategy and employee retention experience.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
