Key responsibilities - Assistant Corporate ControllerLead in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Collaborate with finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing recommendations for improvement.Help establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, cost management, and performance evaluation.Assist in coordinating external audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors, and addressing audit findings in a timely manner.Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.Take on special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Corporate Controller or senior management, contributing to the achievement of company goals and objectives.Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, sales, and procurement, to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies with overall business objectives.
