Sr. Auditor

ResponsibilitiesConduct financial and operational audits, SOX compliance testing and assist with special projects and investigations as needed. Lead and effectively administer audit engagements, supervise contractor work as needed. Conduct planning and scoping of internal audit reviews, including preparation of audit programs: financial and operational audits, centralized and plant locations. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operating practices, express opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of control. Document audit work performed and prepare detailed work papers that support the audit findings. Create formal internal audit reports and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions and improving policies and standard operating procedures. Assist with preparing audit reports and presentations, communicate issues and proposed solutions to management. Assist with company-wide risk assessment, including creation of risk surveys and analysis of other risk factors in the organization. Work with external auditors or consultants as assigned. Skills/Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in Internal Audit and/or public accounting Bachelors or Master’s Degree in AccountingCPA or CIA certification a plus. SOX 404 experience a plus. Experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of ACL or other analytical tools to extract and analyze data a plus. Excellent analytical as well as verbal and written communication skills Average travel is 50% but can be as much as 70% as needed.
