Job Description
Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and position patients for CT scans according to protocol. Operate CT equipment and ensure proper functioning, making adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care and safety during procedures. Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information. Adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Education And Certification Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT scanning. State licensure as a radiologic technologist in New Mexico.
